About Kristine Rand, RD, LCSW

Looking at The Journey

I am a lifelong learner and I love to study new ways of bringing healing and wholeness to our minds, bodies and souls.

I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Nutrition from Virginia Tech and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Norfolk State. Additionally, I have taken classes in Spiritual Formation through Columbia Theological Seminary.

I have several decades of experience in the treatment of eating disorders, body dysmorphia, functional gut disorders, anxiety, phobias and trauma. I have learned so much through my own professional experience, but my personal experience with healing has uniquely changed the way I practice and think about life.

MY THOUGHTS ON HEALING:

In my experience, we practitioners treat the presenting psychological and/or physical condition, but it is the Lord who heals. I believe that the Lord heals miraculously and he also heals through our evidence based interventions. I am miraculously in remission from a terminal cancer diagnosis (Stage 4b Carcinosarcoma)
